A quintessential Floridian home in Old Daytona National Historic District, the Coquina Inn preserves the heritage of Daytona’s old comforts and cottage charm.
The August Seven Inn was originally a guest house built in 1898 by James N. Gamble of the famed Proctor and Gamble Company and has since been carefully restored and listed on the National Historic Register.
On the National Register of Historic Places, built in 1929, the Villa today is a beautifully maintained remnant of Daytona Beach’s earliest vacationers - the barons of industrial America.
On US 1 stands the 1916 brick structure known as South Ridgewood Elementary, it is recognizable to many who note its unique construction and gold toned Lake Helen Brick used in the 1920’s. Many years of service to the community denote its historical significance.
